YOGA FOR ATHLETES
Student athletes train hard. In order to stay in optimal health to play their desired sport, it’s important that they learn movements to increase flexibility, tone muscles, and prevent injury.
I can work with your team by leading a special Yoga for Athletes session where team members will experience poses (asanas) including Partner Yoga and group activities to build trust and facilitate team building. Relaxation techniques will also be taught which will assist athletes prior to and during games to calm jittery nerves.
- 30-60 minute session after any pre-season practice to assist with cool-down, stretching, and relaxation
- 30-60 minute session after any in-season practice
- Special 1 hour session outside the practice schedule (example, on a weekend morning or afternoon)
